Who?
I think I'm better with dogs than I am with people. Is that so wrong? Nope. It takes all kinds of people to make this world go 'round, and I've learned that dog people are the best people.
We rescued our first dog, Teddy, in 2018 when we adopted him from Shih Tzu & Furbaby Rescue. A few months later, we got our first foster dog from the rescue, and we've had at least one foster in the house ever since. We've had as many as 15 at one time when a puppy mill breeder decided to call it quits (it was pandemonium in this house!).
I am a digital marketer for a financial institution, which means I need to be wildly creative with really boring material about numbers and money. I'm an artist working in a gray, logical cubicle. Documenting the stories of my rescue pups enables me to explore my creative side while also contributing to the beauty of this world from the comforts of my dog-proofed home. Oh, my husband and my 17-year-old kid contribute to the pandemonium.
